Services for John Ferguson White, Jr. of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he was a member. Bishop Charles King and President Dan Watson will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. White died March 13, 2005 in Lake City, FL. Born March 25, 1946 in Thomasville he was the son of the late John Ferguson White, Sr. and Harlowe Stringer White who survives. On July 31, 1984 in Thomasville he married Kelly Harvey White who survives. Mr. White was a Foreign Service Diplomat with the United States Information Agency and was a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and Sons of the American Revolution. Other survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Jonathan Hanson of Resaca, GA, son, John Ferguson White, III, daughter, Marian Elizabeth White both of Thomasville, grandchild, Mickey Hanson, sister, Susan Futch of Valdosta, GA, brother, Tim White of Thomasville, mother-in-law, Marion Harvey of Moultrie, GA.
