John Herman Gass Jr.

John Herman Gass, Jr., 72, of Thomasville, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born May 9, 1946, in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Gloria Busch Gass and John Herman Gass, Sr. He married Barbara Burkett Gass, who survives. He was a Veteran of the Untied States Army. Mr. Gass worked at Florida Blueprinting. Other survivors include son, John Gass and wife Jeannie of Harrogate, Tennessee; step-son, Bart Harper and wife Heather of St. Marys, Georgia; grandchildren, Rusty Watcher of Harrogate, Tennessee, Nathan Harper and Jordan Harper both of St. Marys, Georgia; sisters, Barbara Desantis and husband Vince of Jacksonville, Florida and Susan Samela and husband Rob of Washington, New Jersey; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
