Services for John L. Daniel of Pavo, are at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 26, 2002 at Pavo United Methodist Church. Rev. Richard Wilson and Dr. Robert Clark will officiate with interment in Pavo Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Daniel died on September 24, 2002 at his residence. Born September 1, 1934 in Pavo, GA., he was the son of the late Henry Finn & Maxie Peterson Daniel. On October 12, 1956 in Thomasville he married Jeannine Daniels Daniel who survives. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force and retired from Davis Water & Waste. He had been a member of Pavo United Methodist Church since he was 9 years old. He served on the Board of Trustees, Pastor Parrish Relations Committee and Nominating Committee. Other survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Donna Marie & Allen C. Carter of Pavo, son, Michael Thomas Daniel of Los Angeles, CA., brother & sister-in-law, Robert F. & Norma Daniel of Pavo, sisters Henrietta Sprayberry and Frances C. Daniel both of Moultrie and grandchildren Justin & Alyson Carter. Memorials may be made to the Pavo United Methodist Church.
