John L. Williams

Services for John Lucas Williams of Thomasville will be 2 p.m. Monday May 24, 2004 at First Baptist Church Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer will officiate with interment at Boston Cemetery. Born April 18, 1917 in Boston, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Ralph Lee Williams and Nellie Lucas. On October 3, 1937 in Monticello, Fl he married Allene White who survives. Mr. Williams was an accountant for Railway Express for 38 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville and the Golden K Kiwanis Club. Survivors include son and daughter in law Larry and Sharon Williams of Parkland, Fl and brother Leslie L. Williams of Valdosta. Mr. Williams has four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons John Ronald Williams and Ralph Lucas Williams Jr., and granddaughter Tracy Michelle Williams.
