John L. Williams

John L. Williams of Thomasville died December 8, 2006 at Brian Center in Thomasville. Funeral Divine Liturgy and Office of the Dead will be conducted at the Monastery Church of Holy Name Eastern Orthodox Abbey in West Milford, N.J. Mr. Williams was born June 24, 1917 in Mitchell Co., GA. He was the son of the late Samuel P. and Susie Jane Golden Williams. He was married to the late Mamie T. Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of the Orthodox Catholic Eastern Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II and was a painter. He is survived by a son, Rev. Father Brendan Thomas Williams of West Milford, N. J. and sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Faircloth and Mrs. Ronalda Posey both of Tampa, FL. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
