Funeral services for Mr. John Murray Beaty, 81 of Pavo, Ga. will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday July 23, 2013 in the Allen and Allen Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Leland Collins and Dustin Maeno officiating. A private burial will be held in Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Beaty died Saturday July 20, 2013 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on July 24, 1931 in Brooks County Ga., he was the son of the late Fondley Harold Beaty and Wilma Wilkes Beaty. He was a farmer and a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Barwick. Mr. Beaty loved the outdoors and especially hunting, training bird dogs, and fishing. He loved his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great granddaughter. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Emma Morse Beaty of Pavo, Ga; daughter and son-in-law Kay and Hiroshi Maeno of Pavo, Ga, son John Beaty of Pavo, Ga., daughter and son-in-law Amy and Scotty Davis of Pavo, Ga, daughter Leann Beaty and friend Tracy Edmondson of Morven, Ga; grandchildren Tiffany Jackson and her husband Ken, Dustin Maeno, Anna Davis, Sam Davis; great granddaughter Emma Nobuko Jackson; brother Stanley Beaty of Pavo, Ga; sister and brother-in-law Glenda and Billy Fort of St. Petersburg, Fl.; several nieces and nephews.
