John Robert O'Hare

Memorial service for John Robert O’Hare, Jr., 68, will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, September 05, 2014 at Dawson Street Baptist Church, where he was a member. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mr. O’Hare passed away August 28, 2014 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born December 05, 1945 in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late John Robert O’Hare, Sr. and Martha McGinnis O’Hare. He was married to Glynda Prevatt O’Hare, who survives. Mr. O’Hare was so proud of his son, daughter, and beautiful grandchildren. There wasn’t a person he would not help or stir up a conversation with. Other survivors include son John David O’Hare of Port Republic, VA; daughter Janice Batsch of Jacksonville, FL; step-sons Michael James Baker of Ochlocknee and John E. Baker of Thomasville; 12 grandchildren; brothers Tom O’Hare of St. Augustine, FL, Rick O’Hare of Greensboro, NC; sister Jackie West of Jacksonville, FL.
