John Gregory Runyan

John Gregory Runyan, beloved husband of Barbara H. Runyan for 47 years, passed away on Friday March 11, 2022, at Camellia Gardens of Life Care following a long illness. John was the father of his son Christopher Runyan; chosen daughters Karen Miller (Larry) and Nancy DeRubertis (Andrew); grandfather of Amy Miller, Benjamin DeRubertis and Vincent DeRubertis and Jack Runyan. He was preceded in death by his son Patrick Runyan and parents Augustin Hart and Gladys Gilmore Runyan. Mr. Runyan was a veteran of the US Army and was a practicing attorney in Thomasville for over 30 years. His family would like to thank Hospice of Southwest Georgia, Camellia Gardens, Dr. James Falconer, and many supportive friends. Services will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church at 433 S. Hansell St. Thomasville, Ga. on Thursday March 17, 2022, at 2:00PM with interment to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
