Services for Johnnie Hubert Gardner, 93, of Coolidge are at 11:00AM on Friday, June 4, 2004, at Big Creek Baptist Church where he was a life long member. The Rev. Dewitt Rehberg will officiate and interment will be at Big Creek Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Mr. Gardner passed from this earth June 1, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born February 8, 1911 in Turner Co., GA he was the son of the late Zollie C. and Lizzie L. Brady Gardner. After 67 years, he retired from farming, although staying very active with gardening and yard work. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Eulalah Carlton Gardner, two daughters, Reniece Sangster and husband, Roy of Camilla, GA and Brenda Conard and husband Jim of New Bern, NC, two sisters, Louise Sinclair of Coolidge and Gladys Wood of Sycamore, GA, seven grandchildren, Tony and Lynda Hancock, Johnny and Cindy Hancock, Tommy and Pam Sangster, Lisa and David Forrester, Len Sangster, Richard and Tracy Boothe and Kevin Boothe, fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. A daughter Jean Gardner Hancock preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to the Big Creek Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM on Thursday.
