Services for Johnnie Mae Hobbs, 87, of Pavo, are 2:00 pm, Monday, March 26, 2007 at Pavo United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with interment in Lebanon Cemetery. The Rev. Sherman Hall and Rev. Dick Turnipseed will officiate. Mrs. Hobbs died March 22, at Archbold Hospital. Born March 28, 1919 in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late John D. Ethridge & Vera Inez Pitchford Howard. She was a homemaker and graduated from Pavo High School in 1940. She was married to Freddie S. Hobbs who preceded her in death February 11, 1982. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Sheron & Ernie Synhoff, granddaughters and their husbands, Sheri & James Phillips, Alana & Romane Canupp, and Lisa & Tony Trout, sister, Clarice Leadbeater, all of Jacksonville, FL, sister, Hazel Ethridge, of Pavo, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat Poly-Ann.
