Johnny Gus Whaley

Services for Johnny Gus Whaley of Coolidge are at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Harold Pullen will officiate and interment is in Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, GA. Mr. Whaley died Dec. 11 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born May 16, 1910 in Webster Co., GA., he was the son of the late Willie Eugene and Mary Cox Whaley. He was a mechanic and served in the United States Air Force during WWII. He and his family were very generous to the people of the community by helping in their times of need. He is survived by Renley and Barbara Bustle and family and several cousins. He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Edward, Bill and sisters, Rosa Rosebud, Jewel, Everdene and Sarah. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Friday at the funeral home.
