Graveside services for Johnny Leon Varnedoe, 44, of Thomasville are at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 on 17th St. in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Robert Fletcher will officiate. Mr. Varnedoe died on October 10, 2008 at his residence. Born on April 25, 1965 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Lee Darby and Maxine Price Varnedoe. Mr. Varnedoe was an EMT. Survivors include sisters and brothers in law, Linda & Don Joiner of Monticello, FL and Janice and Burt Atkinson of Thomasville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
