Johnny Rack Whiddon

Graveside services for Johnny Rack Whiddon, 76 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Gerald Horne will officiate. Mr. Whiddon passed away June 5, 2021 at his residence. Born February 3, 1945 in Cairo, he was the son of the late J.C. Whiddon and Margaret Griffin Whiddon. Mr. Whiddon attended Thomasville High School and was a big fan of the sports teams. He worked for Robert's Mobile Home Moving and enjoyed watching sports on television and he enjoyed playing when he was younger. He was of the Baptist Faith and loved the Lord. He is survived by his daughter, Nona Whiddon Strickland of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Charles Whiddon, Sr., of Ochlocknee and Robert Whiddon and wife Lois of Thomasville and numerous nieces and nephews.
