Joseph Vinson Chambers

Joseph Vinson Chambers Sr., age 70, of Cairo passed away on October 9, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Thomasville on December 20, 1951, to the late Harry and Lena Jo Chambers. Joseph was a dedicated father and friend. He had an amazing moral compass in a world of temptation. He was always willing to listen and lend aid. He raised 5 children and instilled them with the knowledge to succeed in life. Survivors include his children Joe Chambers of Cairo, Cairon Reagan of Chattanooga, TN, Ciera Garrett of Homer, LA, Paul Johns of Cairo, and Andrew Powell of Cairo; 9 grandchildren; and brothers Charles Chambers of Thomasville, and Mickie Chambers of Ochlocknee. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
