He left behind his wife of 35 years, Elaine Hughes Chastain and four children; Jack Anthony Chastain, Joseph Rayburn Chastain, Jr, Jon Garrett Chastain and Kaitlyn Elaine Chastain; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will have a small service at home, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm. They ask anyone wanting to send flowers, to please brighten someone’s day at your local hospice, hospital or nursing home instead. He loved fishing, playing pool and wrestling with his kids.
