Services for Joseph Coleman Chancey of Boston are at 10:00AM on Monday, July 31, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tim Robson will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Chancey died July 28 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born May 22, 1954 in Thomas Co., GA he was the son of the late Coleman William Chancey and Martha Hatcher Chancey Robinson who survives in Thomasville. He was married to Helen Merritt Chancey who survives. Mr. Chancey was an Engineer for Flowers Baking Company for 24 years and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Other survivors include son, Dennis Coleman Chancey, Sr. of Thomasville, daughter, Angie Lamb Chancey of Boston, stepdaughter, Wendy Willis; grandchildren, Dennis Chancey, Jr., Brittani Chancey, Taylor Chancey, Noah Chancey, Magen Chancey, Cameron Willis, Christian Willis; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Darlene Chancey of Ochlocknee, sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Larry Conger and sister, Dorothy Chancey all of Thomasville.
