Joseph Lee Halladay,67, born on January 17, 1959, in Leominster, Massachusetts, passed away on May 29, 2026, in Pavo, Georgia. He is remembered for his passion for cooking, his love of the outdoors, and the warmth he brought to those around him. He was the son of the late Howard Halladay and Irmadina Halladay.

Joseph graduated from Thomas County Central High School in 1977, after which he dedicated his career to the culinary arts as a chef. He earned recognition as the State Employee of the Year at Southwestern State Hospital for his exceptional contributions in the kitchen, bringing joy to both patients and staff alike with his culinary creations.

Beyond his career, Joseph was an avid lover of day lilies and took great joy in gardening and woodworking, showcasing his creativity and dedication not just in the kitchen but in every aspect of his life.

Survivors include his partner Terry Wilder, sister Nancy Bradshaw (Jeff) of Melbourne, and nieces Brady Bradshaw, and Lindsey Buchanan.

Joseph is preceded in death by his sister Therese Halladay and his parents.

A service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 11am at Allen & Allen Funeral Home with Jay Ridenhower officiating.
