Services for Thomas Tom Brandstetter III, also known as ?Barefoot?, 60, of Thomasville, are 2:00 pm, Friday, October 19, 2007 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Mr. Brandstetter died October 16, 2007 at his residence. Born July 3, 1947 in Bermuda, he was the son of the late Joseph Thomas Brandstetter, Jr. and Evelyn Minor Brandstetter. On October 10, 1986, in Daytona Beach, FL, he married Marylou Monroe Brandstetter, who survives. He was a former Navy Seal from Seal team 2 stationed in Boca Chica, FL, a retired Agricultural Engineer, a member of the Ochlocknee American Legion Post 265, VFW Post 5011, Moose Lodge, Disabled Americans, National Rifle Assoc, Citizens Police Academy, and ABAC Forestry Program. Other survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Melissa Anne & Bobby Banks of Savannah, GA, nephews, Douglas Brandstetter, Cory Brandstetter and a great network of friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Thursday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Ochlocknee American Legion, 4025 Stubbs St, Ochlocknee, GA, 31773.
