Joseph Milton Williams, Sr.

Funeral services for Joseph Milton Williams Sr. will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday May 29, 2016 at First Newark Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Born on August 13, 1960 in Thomasville he was the son of the late James Milton Williams and Myrtice Hurst Williams who survives. He was a Sales Rep. for Bimbo Bakeries in the Raleigh North Carolina area. Mr. Williams loved his family and life in general. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. Survivors include his mother Myrtice Hurst Williams of Thomasville; son Joseph Milton Williams Jr. of Charlotte, NC; sisters Dot Hall Patten and her husband Walter of Sylvester, Ga, Lenita Wright of Cocoa, Fl.; niece Anny Shields and nephew Gamie Patten. His family will receive friends and family at First Newark Baptist Church on Sunday prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 PM. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
