Graveside services for Josephine B. Neel of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Third Street. Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor and Rev. Waymon Cleveland will officiate. Mrs. Neel died January 15, 2004 at Plantation Manor. Born June 23, 1906 in Thomas Co., Ga. she was the daughter of the late James N. & Margaret Louise Robenson Butler. She was married to the late Lawson Neel. Mrs. Neel was a member of First United Methodist Church and served in the United States Army. She was a member of the Thomasville Garden Club, President of State Garden Club and leader for Troop 83 Girl Scouts and was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy L. Neel of Siloam Spring, Ark.; granddaughter, Nancy Ann Harper of Snellville, GA.; great grandchildren, Jessy Jake Harper, Jacob Lawson Harper; sisters, Betty Griffin of Thomasville and Mildred B.
