Josephine B Williams

Josephine B. Williams, 84, of Thomasville, passed away on February 9, 2023, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Services will be Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11 AM at Gatlin Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Lyle Witcher and Mitch Conner officiating. An Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Josephine was born July 4, 1938, in San Antonio, TX to the late E.C. Saenz and Dominga Bautista Saenz. She was a charter member of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church and was a true servant of the Lord. Mrs. Josephine helped many families in our community. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and had a sweet and feisty personality. Survivors include daughters, Sylvia A. Williams of Thomasville, and Deborah W. Bufford of Thomasville, son, John D. Williams (Alane) of Thomasville, daughter, Barbara Williams-Anderson (Robbie) of Thomasville; grandchildren, Sherri Beeman (Chad), Ashley Brooks (Jeremy), Nicole Piland, Jack Reed Anderson, Cole Anderson; great-grandchildren, Kayln Beeman, Brice Beeman, Grant Brooks, and Lillie Brooks; siblings Angie Lopez of San Antonio, TX, Joe Saenz (Vickie) of San Antonio, TX, Susie Castillo of San Antonio, TX, Carlos Saenz (Mary Alice) of Houston TX, and Dora Barnhart (Leroy) of San Antonio, TX; brother in law Richard Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Tom Jack Williams; daughter Kathy Williams, and sister Sylvia Gonzalez. A visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, from 5-7 PM in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
