Lee Warren will officiate and interment will be in Fredonia Cemetery. Mrs. Floyd died August 24, 2005 in Warner Robins, GA. Born July 30, 1917 in Jones Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Ann Wilkes Baxley. On August 5, 1939 in Thomas Co., GA she married Edward Floyd who preceded her in death. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Ft. Valley, GA and was a clerk for J. C. Penneys. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Edward Floyd and Pam Floyd of Daytona Beach, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Jean Floyd Garnto and Earl Garnto of Byron, GA; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wilson Baxley, Dodson Baxley and James Baxley. The family will receive friends from 7-9PM on Friday at the funeral home.
