Juanita Stuart

Juanita “Nanee” Stuart, 85, of Pavo, Ga passed away on January 25, 2023, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Services will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, at 11 AM in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Jonathan Mosley officiating. Burial will be held at Fellowship Cemetery in Cullman, Al. Juanita was born August 9, 1937, in Westpoint, Al to the late Stacy Ryan and Unie Hopkins Ryan. She was the owner and operator of Nanee’s Donut Hole for 19 years in Thomasville, Ga. Mrs. Stuart was the manager of Mountain Brook Club in Birmingham, Al, Chairperson of Taste of Birmingham, Recipient of the Deanie Vacalis Award, Who's Who of Birmingham, and was nominated for Woman of the Year and was certified club manager of C.C.M. She was also a member of Fairhaven Primitive Baptist Church in Tifton, Ga. Mrs. Stuart is survived by her son Dean Stuart of Pavo, Ga; grandchildren Jason Stuart, Nicole Stuart, Ryan, and wife Blaine Stuart, and Noelle Stuart; great-grandchildren Will Curles, Connor Stuart, and Wyatt Stuart; sister-in-law Elizabeth Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents Stacy and Unie Ryan, and brothers Ronald Ryan and Kenneth Ryan. A visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2023, one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
