Judie Mae Parrish

On Monday, December 2, Judie Mae Parrish, died at the age of 74 at her home. Mrs. Parrish was born on April 5, 1945 in Holmes County. The love of her life, Jack Allen Parrish, passed away on April 18, 2009. They were married on December 6, 1960 in Bainbridge, Georgia. Judie was a private sitter for many years before becoming a full-time caregiver for her husband. She loved taking care of her family, gardening and sewing/quilting. Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and one son, Dennis Parrish. Judie leaves behind two sisters, Voncille Davis Eldridge of Geneva, Alabama and Eloise and husband Jessie Evans of West Bay, Florida. Son, James Parrish; grandchildren, Jim Parrish and Cory and wife Teisha Parrish; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Bryson, Zoey, Ariana Parrish all of West Plains, Missouri. Son, Daniel and wife Cindy Parrish of Panama City, Florida; grandchildren, JD and wife Cassie Parrish; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jesse Parrish all of Thomasville, Georgia. Son, Dale Parrish of Panama City, Florida; grandchildren, Allen and wife Lauren Parrish of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Logan Parrish of Panama City, Florida. Daughter, Tammy and husband Cuy Simmons; grandchildren, Caitlin and Maggie Simmons all of Thomasville, Georgia. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
