Judy Faye Austin Ivey, 64, of Thomasville, Georgia, went to Heaven February 25th, 2025.
Judy was born March 26th, 1960, in Dothan Alabama, to the late Louie Eugene Austin and the late Ada Mae Pearson Tillery. Most of her earlier years were spent in Alabama and Georgia but she would eventually make Thomasville, Georgia, her permanent home with her husband Willie and her daughter Mary Kathrine.
Judy Faye was a very caring, gentle and loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother and Grandmother. As a child Judy liked to get into her older sisters things, and wanted to go everywhere her Mother went. She was a Mama’s Girl! When Judy became a Mother herself she loved her daughter Mary Kathrine with all her heart and soul. And when her Granddaughter Ma’Layah came along she showered her with the kind of love that only a Grandmother could. When her husband Willie became ill she took care of him. And when Judy and Willie were both ill they moved into a nursing home together, and eventually into the same room. Judy spent the rest of her life till she took her last breath caring for him and making sure others cared for him. Judy Faye Austin Ivey will be forever missed. “The pain of missing you is a beautiful reminder of the joy of loving you.” – Dean Jackson
