Julia Elizabeth Hurst

Funeral services for Julia Elizabeth Hurst, 76, of Ochlocknee will be at 3PM, Friday, December 11, 2015 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church, where she was a member. Interment will be at Ochlocknee City Cemetery and Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate. Mrs. Hurst passed away on December 9, 2015 at her residence. Born March 5, 1939 in Cairo, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lenora Gainous Hurst. Mrs. Hurst was married to Leon Hurst, who preceded her in death. Survivors include son, Al Hurst and wife Bonnie of Atlanta; daughter, Amy Henderson and husband Terry of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Ashley Hurst of Statesboro, Casey Hurst of Statesboro, Dylan Henderson of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Dallas Henderson of Ochlocknee; great grandson, Hayden Tootle of Statesboro; sister-in-law, Anna Hurst of Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Hurst. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Ochlocknee Baptist Church, P.O. Box 69, Ochlocknee, GA 31773.
