Graveside services for Julian R. Williams, of Thomasville, will be at 11:00AM of Friday, September 6, 2002 in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Tennessee Street. Mr. Williams died on Sept. 4, 2002 at Brownwood Nursing Home in Moultrie, GA. Born September 23, 1922 in Thomas Co., Ga. he was the son of the late James Jim and Margaret Lancaster Williams. He was married to Marguerite Hough Williams who survives. Mr. Williams was a retired Federal Meat Inspector for USDA and a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. Other survivors include a sons, J.Wayne Williams of Columbia, SC., Rodney B. Williams of Thomasville; daughter, Teresa Singletary of Moultrie; brother, Billy Williams of Thomasville; sisters, Genelle Hurtado and Hazel Horne of Thomasville, Marion Kennedy and Margaret Bozeman of Florida and Anne Owens of Virginia; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces & nephews.
