Mr. Julian E Robinson, 85, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away on February 7, 2024. Born on May 24, 1938, in Meigs, Georgia, Julian was the son of the late Edgar Thomas and Jewell Harrison Robinson.
Julian was a man of Baptist faith. After graduating from Pavo High School, he dedicated his life to the agricultural industry, working as a diligent farmer. On February 18, 1989, Julian married Withla R. Robinson. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, support, and countless cherished memories. Julian found immense joy in spending time outdoors, taking in the beauty of nature that surrounded him. He especially treasured watching his grandchildren participate in their various activities, bringing him great pride and happiness.
Julian will forever be remembered by his wife, Withla, and his children Melissa Scholefield (Scott) of Kennesaw, Rhonda Melton (Mike) of Coolidge, and stepdaughters Allison King (Scott) of Savannah, and Blythe Koplin (Henry) of Macon. His memory will be cherished by grandchildren, Nick Scholefield of Atlanta, Colby Melton of Dixie, Kasey Melton of Bainbridge, as well as step-grandchildren Thacker, Adam, and Thomas King, and Brennan (Allison and Fields), Maggie, and Katherine Hamilton.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Wavell Robinson (Darlene) of Pavo, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his great-granddaughter, Livingston. Julian was preceded in death by his sisters Doris Alligood (Roger) and Sara Thomas (Billy), as well as his brothers Tommy Robinson (Ruby) and Dewey Robinson (Joyce).
A memorial service will be held to honor and celebrate Julian's life on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 11 am at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Celebration of Life Chapel with Pastor Nathan Wilburn officiating. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pavo Baptist Church or Archbold Hospice in his honor. Contributions for Archbold Hospice can be sent to 400 Old Albany Road, Thomasville, GA 31792.
