Junior Storey of Thomasville passed away peacefully on February 6th, 2024, at the age of 93. He was born in Adel to the late Zera Storey and Mattie Weatherington Storey on November 26, 1930. He was a member of Thomasville Church of Christ and a devoted husband and father who loved his family.
He is survived by his daughter Lynn Tucker of Cairo; sons Kimball Storey of Ochlocknee, David Storey and Carla Williams of Ochlocknee, Jeffrey Storey and Karla of McIntyre, and Brett Storey and Tina of Kingsland; brothers Vince Storey, Don Storey, Laurie Storey, and Dwight Storey; sisters Faye Free and Phyllis Hancock followed by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Alice Storey, his son-in-law Marty Richardson, and several brothers and sisters.
There will be a graveside service to celebrate the life of Junior Storey that will be held on Sunday, February 11th at 2 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens with pastor Garland Basford officiating.
