Justin Scott Howington, beloved husband, son, and father, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2023, just one day before his 38th birthday. Born on December 9, 1985, in Gainesville, Georgia, Justin brought joy and laughter to the lives of all who knew him.
Justin had a heart full of laughter and a contagious sense of humor. He was always ready with a quick joke or a witty remark, brightening the room and lifting spirits. He had a deep passion for music, often found playing his favorite tunes or singing along with a smile on his face. Justin enjoyed spending time with family, especially his wife Linda and their three beautiful children, Nevaeh, Hunter Gage, and Jackson. Their love and bond were unbreakable.
Justin had a zest for life and had many hobbies that brought him joy. He loved cars, spending hours tinkering and transforming them into masterpieces. He also had a passion for guns and enjoyed hunting and shooting. Justin's love for adventure was infectious, and he cherished every moment spent exploring the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda Howington and their three children Nevaeh, Hunter and Jackson, his devoted parents Jeffery and Rhonda Howington and Gail Higgins, and his siblings Brian Howington, Jordan Caswell, Tyler Caswell, and Aaron Gholston. Justin was adored by his nieces and nephews, who will always remember him as the fun-loving and caring Uncle JJ and many other family members.
A celebration of Justin's life and legacy will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
