Funeral services for Kaleb Christopher Maxwell, 19, of Cairo will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cairo. . Rev. David Harrell will officiate. Kaleb passed away May 10, 2024. Born September 17, 2004 in Cairo. Kaleb was a student at Coastal Plains Charter School in Cairo. He loved rescuing stray dogs and traveling. He is survived by his parents, Elliott Parker Maxwell, Emily Harrell Maxwell and Laura Ann Myrick, all of Cairo; brothers and sister, Jason Tyler Maxwell, Nathan Lee Maxwell and Danica Miracle Maxwell, all of Cairo; Maternal grandmothers, Joanne Fisher of Cairo, Lorraine Johnson and husband Vann Johnson of Metcalf; paternal grandfather, Billy Purser of Eastman, GA; aunt, Lynn Bennett; cousins, Bryson Bennett and Braxton Bennett both of Cairo; aunt, Andria Rogers of Cairo; uncles, Brandon Myrick and Anthony Myrick both of Cairo; friends, Adriana Esquivel, Hannah Morris and Kira Kandler, all of Cairo. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Purser and maternal grandfather, Dale Myrick. The family will receive friends 10:00 - 11:00 am, on Tuesday, before the service.
