Kalin Martin Reichert

Funeral services for Kalin Martin Reichert, 53, will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Rev. Michael Bass officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Kalin passed away at his home on November 27, 2022. He was born on August 12, 1969. He was the son of Curtis Martin Reichert and Cecelia Buckner Reichert. He was the grandson of the late Graham Ernest Buckner and Louise Reddick Thomas. He was also the grandson of the late Ernest Martin and Maggie Jones Reichert. Kalin graduated from Central High School in 1987. He also attended Thomas Technical School where he studied to become a respiratory therapist. He moved to Dallas, Texas after graduation where he worked at the Neonatal Hospital Unit and was with the life flight. Kalin always enjoyed being outside and enjoying nature. When he was in high school, his uncle worked with bees and got Kalin interested in them also. He enjoyed working with the bees and watching them as they made honey. In 2020 he decided to go back to school. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. He moved back to Thomasville in 2020. He is survived by his parents Curtis and Cecelia; brother Kelly Patrick Reichert; sister-in-law Stacy Exum Reichert; nephew Carson Mychal Reichert; aunts and uncles Linda Reichert Murphy and Laine Kelly and Ernest Kirby Reichert and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Kevin Ernest Reichert, and aunts Patricia Louise Buckner Simmons and Helen Dale Reichert Bordelon.
