Katherine T. Reeves

Services for Katherine Tidwell Reeves, 92, of Thomasville will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 1 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lee Waller and Pastor Bobby Tidwell will officiate and internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Reeves died on August 28, 2010 at Golden Living Center. Born September 29, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Carl and Izzie Cleo Gravitt Tidwell. On May 1, 1938 in Monticello, FL, she married the late Theo Titus Joe Reeves. She retired from Archbold Memorial Hospital as a Phlebotomist. Mrs. Reeves was a member of Dawson St. Baptist Church. Surviving are a son Ronald Reeves and wife Lyn of Cairo and a daughter Betty Jo Bullard-Waters and husband Michael of Brunswick; grandchildren Jodie Brooke Allen & Joey of Tallahassee, FL; Angie Green & Jody of Cairo; Shan Kelly & Elizabeth of Pensacola, FL and great-grandchildren Calli Nicole Bullard, Savanna Joe Recoy, Mary Joe Allen, Hunter Kelly, Aidan Green and Avery Green. Also surviving are brother and sister in law, Bobby Lee and June Tidwell of Bonifay, FL, sisters, Retha Mae Muddridge of Thomasville, Frances Vinson of Boston; sisters and brothers in law Shirley and Charles Wilson of Pavo, Runell and Melton Flowers of Iron City, GA, Rosell and Gene Biles of Auburndale, FL and a sister in law Toni Tidwell of Va., several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by a grandson, Ty Bullard, sisters Gertrude Salgado, Juanita Tidwell and brothers, James Tidwell and W. D. Tidwell.
