Services for Kathleen Granger Carter, 89 of Tallahassee, Fl will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Richard Carter will officiate and interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Carter passed away June 11 comfortably in her home surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren after a short illness where the Lord took her Home to her final resting place of Glory. She was born January 15, 1925. Mrs. Carter was a strong, loving, caring mother and grandmother who was loved by her family. She was a friend to everyone and touched many hearts and she loved working with her flowers and gardening. She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Odom Gallardo (Antonio) of Ochlocknee, Cathy Williamson (Kelvin) of Tallahassee, Fl and JoAnne Goodson of Crawfordville, Fl; three sons, Otis Wayne Granger (Edna) of Florala, Al, John Allen Granger of Tallahassee, Fl and Joseph Ronnie Carter (Teri) of North Wilkesboro, NC; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 4 siblings and 1 grandson. Her family will greet friends from 1-2 pm before the service on Sunday.
