Services for Kathleen Whiddon Johnson, 89 of Thomasville are 2 pm, Sunday, December 18, at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gene Brock will officiate and a private interment will be in Capel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson passed away December 15 at Camellia Gardens. Born September 25, 1922 in Grady Co., she was the daughter of the late Offie Lee Whiddon and Annie Paul Johnson Whiddon. Mrs. Johnson was married to Amon Thomas Johnson who preceded her in death. She was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church and was retired from Sunnyland. Survivors include children, Aaron Thomas Tommy Johnson and wife Terri of Lake City, Fl, Lamar Johnson and wife, Louann of Anchorage, Ak, Linda Massey and husband Jerry of Ochlocknee, Randy Johnson of Thomasville; grandchildren, Todd Johnson of Lake City, Fl, Anna Johnson of Jacksonville, Fl, Toby Johnson of Thomasville, Jenna Massey of Ochlocknee, Tyler Johnson and Taylor Johnson both of Thomasville; great granddaughter, Haylee Johnson; sister, Jeanine Duncan of Austell, Ga and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Carroll Whiddon and Bernard Whiddon. The family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to Camellia Gardens, Dr. Joe Rawlings, Dr. Jason Griffin and a special thank you to Waymon Dekle for faithfully visiting and witnessing.
