Kathryn Faye Thompson Phinazee

Memorial services for Kathryn “Kathy” Faye Thompson Phinazee, 76, of Thomasville will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Allen and Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Mrs. Phinazee passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. Born on December 12, 1945 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late James P. “Tommy” Thompson and Sibyl Pullen Thompson. She married Clarence Darrell Phinazee on April 21, 1966. Kathy loved going to the beach and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Darrell Phinazee; children, Lauri Phinazee Schofill (Scott) of Valdosta and Darrell “Van” Phinazee of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jada Price Atkinson (Cole) and Alex Van Phinazee; great grandson, Easton Colter Atkinson; sister-in-law, Connie Evans of Tennessee; and special family member, Beth Norris. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Perry Thompson.
