Kathy Lynn Such, a devoted wife, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and compassionate friend, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, at the age of 71. She was born on May 16, 1954, in Miami, Florida, to the late John and June Giles.
Kathy's career as a para-professional at Garrison Pilcher Elementary School showcased her dedication to education and her passion for helping children. A God-fearing lady, she always emphasized the importance of love and support within her community. Her strong work ethic extended beyond the classroom; Kathy was passionate about her love for animals and dedicated much of her time to wildlife rescue efforts. She worked at the Humane Society and was known as the cat lady.
Kathy cherished her family above all, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She took great pride in their achievements and enjoyed sharing her love of art, particularly pieces created by her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband Tony Such of Coolidge; children Tammy Lee Rabon (Robert) of Pavo, John Anthony Such (Randi) of Thomasville, and Donald Thomas Such (Deanne) of Thomasville; grandchildren Kately Prince, Lucas Wickham, Dusty Rabon, Avril Morgan, and Johnathan Morgan; great-grandchildren Melody Brown, Persephone Brown, Harmony Brown, and Connor Clark; siblings Deborah Bayless (Tommy) of St. James City, FL, Chuck Giles (Sharon) of Thomasville, and Bonnie Hawkins of Thomasville.
A service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Keith Smith officiating.
