Katie Hatcher Caldwell

Services for Katie Hatcher Caldwell, 84 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Robson will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Clinton Hatcher, Randall Hatcher, Gary Chancey, Larry Conger, Sr., Sam Crump and Lavone Hatcher. Ms. Caldwell passed away October 31, 2016 at Camellia Gardens. Born February 5, 1932 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Louis Clayton Hatcher and Gatsie L Crosby Hatcher. On December 22, 1951 she married W.L. Caldwell who preceded her in death on March 20, 1985. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by sister, Martha Jane Chancey Robinson; step-grandson, Charlie Eddings and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by step-daughter, Sandra Eddings, step-granddaughter, Dawn Eddings, sisters and brothers, Versie Bumble, Edna Mae Fudge, Doc Hatcher, Grady Hatcher, L.C. Hatcher, Irene Roland, Carrie Lee White, Roy Hatcher and Lera Dixon. The family will receive friends 2-3pm, before the service at the funeral home.
