Katie Hires West

Services for Katie E . Hires West, 37 of Pavo will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Enon Baptist Church. Rev. Mitch Clements will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. West passed away January 19, 2016 at her residence. Born November 16, 1978 in Quitman, she is the daughter of Ralph Hires of Coolidge and Ruth Clark Horne of Barwick. She attended Summerhill Baptist Church and enjoyed camping at the river. Other survivors include her daughters, Josey West and Emily Paige West, both of Pavo; grandson, Jaye West; brothers, Jeff Hires of Barwick, Tony Hires of Thomasville and Johnny Hires of Pavo and boyfriend, Billy Owens, J r of Pavo. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
