Keith Alan Massey of Thomasville passed away on August 19, 2024.
He was born in Thomasville on March 31, 1961 to the late Felton Dock Massey and Mildred Bozeman Massey.
Keith graduated from Thomas County Central in 1979 and went on to earn degrees in education from both Thomas University and Valdosta State University.
In 1988 he married the love of his life Elaine Ring Massey and together they've shared over 35 years of marriage.
Keith dedicated most of his professional life to education.
He worked at both Pelham City Schools and Thomas County Central High School. He spent over 30 years teaching at Brookwood School.
Keith had a love of math, history, computers and technology in general.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Ring Massey and his sons Kasey Aaron Massey, Kevin Anthony Massey, and Kyle Alexander Massey. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Bozeman Massey, brother Alvin Massey (Maria), uncle Tommy Bozeman(Shebbie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Felton Dock Massey and brothers Jimmy Lamar Massey and Donald Russell Massey.
The celebration of life for Keith Allen Massey will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 4 pm at the First Baptist Church of Thomasville. Phil Danner and Alfred Carver will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, August 21st at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
