Kelly Clyde Griffin

Kelly Clyde Griffin, age 64, of Thomasville, Georgia, passed away on July 23, 2026. Born on August 9, 1961, in Thomasville, he spent his life cultivating a love for the land and the simple pleasures of life, from caring for his farm and cherished cats to enjoying time with family and friends.

Kelly's heart was deeply rooted in his community and his passions. He had a particular fondness for his John Deere tractors and the joyful moments they brought him. Known for his warm spirit, he could often be found savoring meals at local favorites such as the Q Cafe and Rancho Grande. A devoted fan, Kelly held a special place in his heart for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons, often rallying for their victories with enthusiasm.

Survivors include brother Charlton Griffin (Austin) of Thomasville, followed by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kelly is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Jewell Sherrod Griffin.

A service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11 am at Allen & Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Eason officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service. Kelly will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens next to his parents.
