Kelly Lee Highsmith

Graveside services for Kelly Lee Highsmith, 75 of Boston will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, October 5 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. His brother, Larry Highsmith will officiate. Mr. Highsmith passed away October 2, 2013 at his residence. Born October 26, 1937 he was the son of the late James Orland Highsmith and Honorine Cone Highsmith. On December 16, 1962 in Thomasville he married Marjorie Key Highsmith who survives. Mr. Highsmith was a veteran of the US Air Force, a farmer and a private pilot. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling with his wife. Other survivors include sons, Patrick Highsmith and wife Paige of Buford, GA and Kevin Highsmith of Boston; grandson, Steven Highsmith and wife Heather of Brinson, GA and brother, Larry Highsmith and wife Francis of Lawley, Ala. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 114 A. Mimosa Dr, Thomasville, GA 31792.
