Kenneth (Ken) Philip Hubbard

August 4, 1954 — July 19, 2024

Kenneth (Ken) Philip Hubbard passed away July 19, 2024 in Thomasville, Ga, surrounded by family.

Ken was born August 4, 1954. He was proceeded in death by his loving parents, Philip and Thelma Hubbard of Columbus, Ga. He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Carol-Margaret Ward Hubbard and his children Tolli Poff of Dacula Ga, Stacy Tipton (Sean) of King George Va, Kitsi Garmon (John) of Thomasville Ga, Beth Gilbert (John) of Kingston GA, and Christopher Wells (Stacy) of Salem Al. One of Ken's greatest pleasures in life besides his wife and children was playing with and being called Opa by his 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He also leaves behind a sister, Barbara Jones (David) of Barnesville, Ga and many special nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Ken had many passions. His love of country and the American flag, shown by his serving in the US Army for 10 plus years. He loved the Ga Bulldogs, the Atlanta Braves, and most importantly, he loved The Lord. Ken's servant heart was shown by his deep love of others and his giving, expecting nothing in return. Ken wanted everyone to experience the love of Jesus and his forgiveness as he did.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held August 4, 2024 at 2pm at Cornerstone Church of Christ in Thomasville, Ga.

We encourage everyone to wear their favorite sports team shirt, if they would like to. It was a rare day that Ken didn't wear something UGA!

If you would like to share something about Ken during the celebration, please contact Carol-Margaret at 229-319-0628 or Kitsi at 229-224-5970.
