Kenneth R. Smith

Graveside services for Kenneth R. Smith, 81 of Coolidge, GA, will be held Tuesday September 4, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at Enon Cemetery. Rev Curtis Eason will officiate. Mr. Smith passed away on September 2, 2012 at home with his family. Born August 26, 1931 he was the only child of Herbert A. and Vallie Murphy Smith. On December 1953 he married Helen Stobely Smith of Greenville, FL who survives. He was a Korean Veteran serving from 1953-1955. His sons Jody M. Smith Dawn Warren and Robert A. Smith Teresa Dess, both of whom survive, joined their Dad and Granddad in the family operation. Other survivors include his Grandchildren; Brittany Smith Taylor Marty, Michaela Smith, Vallie E. Smith, and J. Reese Smith. He was preceded in death by a son Tony Phillip Smith. Ken was a generous and kind person, never turned anyone away when they needed help. He was a member of Enon Baptist church for years. He lived his religion everyday not just on Sunday. Donations may be made to Enon Cemetery Fund in Memory of Kenneth, P.O.
