Kevin Dewayne Brooks

Kevin Dewayne Brooks, 47, passed away on July 20, 2024, following a brief illness, surrounded by his family. Kevin, a beloved son of Mike and Debra Pollock Brooks, was born on March 30, 1977, in Thomasville, GA. Throughout his life, Kevin found joy in supporting his favorite team, the Florida Gators, and had a passion for music and woodworking. He had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Kevin, a self-employed Digital Creator, touched the lives of many with his creativity. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Mike and Debra Pollock Brooks; his nephews Brandon Cox and Richard Jonathan Lewis; his niece Angel Hope Mills; his uncle and aunt Benjie and Cindy Diers; as well as aunt and uncle Robert and Peggy Pollock, and several cousins.

Kevin was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Brooks, and his maternal grandparents, Josh Pollock and Lessie Pollock Bentley, as well as his step-grandfather, Amos Bentley, and paternal grandparents, Marvin and Bernice Brooks.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Allen and Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 am with Reverend Ricky Whitley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Pineland Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society in Kevin's memory.
