Services for Kristi L. Owen Roberts, 33, of Thomasville, are at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 18, 2007 at First United Methodist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer officiating. Mrs. Roberts died August 15, at Archbold Memorial Hospital following a 3+ year battle with leukemia. Born February 5, 1974, in Ohio, she was the daughter of Stanley and Anna Owen, of Mineral Ridge, OH; who survive. On October 2, 1999, in Ohio, she married Jerry ?Scott? Roberts, who survives. Kristi was a 1992 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School in Mineral Ridge, OH, and Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH. She was employed by Goodwill Industries in the job placement field and was General Manager of Tropical Sun Tanning Salons. Other survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Robin and Vince Smith of Eugene, Oregon and Cyndee and Craig Weimer of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Sherri Owen of Girard, Ohio; and grandmother, Margaret Rambo of Monaca, Penn, 10 nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at Allen & Allen Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m., Friday. A memorial service will be held at the First Community Church of the Nazarene, 1822 Niles-Vienna Rd, Niles, OH, on Saturday, August 25, at 2:00pm with Dr. William Porter officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kristi Roberts Cancer Fund, c/o Commercial Bank, P.O. Box 710, Thomasville, Ga 31799 and/or www.caringbridge.org .
