Laconie Lucile Billingsley Strickland

Laconie Lucile Billingsley Strickland, 82, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2003 in Jacksonville, Fl., where sher resided. A native of Thomasville, where she was born on November 6, 1920 to Albert Lee Billingsley and Lora Elizabeth Courtney Billingsley who resided at 115 Kern St. in Thomasville. She was a graduate of Thomasville High School class of 1942. She is preceded in death by her husband Ira Lewis Strickland, sister Mary Lee Billingsley Cone, and two infant brothers James and Raymond. She is survived by her two sons Albert Mahlon Strickland wife Joyce, and Howard Lee wife Carolyn, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by them all. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 in Laurel Hill Cemetery on 9th St. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
