Lamont Redfearn

Mr. Lamont Redfearn of Pavo, Georgia died Friday, November 14 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, Georgia. Mr. Redfearn was born in Lake Worth, Florida on October 8, 1927 to Charlotte and Claybourne Redfearn. After two tours of duty in the Army in Germany and Japan, he completed a career with A & P Grocery as a district supervisor. He then worked for the next thirty years as an independent carpenter and builder in the Brooks and Thomas County areas of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, William C. Redfearn, Jr. and Jack M. Redfearn. He was also preceded in death by three sisters; Lucille and Amber Redfearn, and Jeanette Murphy. Mr. Redfearn is survived by his wife Marjorie Redfearn of the home; his daughter Teresa Romines; sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Penny Redfearn, David and Linda Redfearn; two sisters-in-law, Elsie Redfearn and Nancy Redfearn. Surviving also are three grandchildren, Meagan Harris, Patrick Romines and Amber Romines, as well as numerous great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Antioch Baptist Church, Pavo, Georgia at 11:00Am, Thursday, November 20, 2014. Guests may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com .
