Larry Rudolph Owens

Larry Rudolph Owens, 72 of Thomasville passed away July 12, 2015 at his residence. Born April 23, 1943 in Buford, Georgia, he was the son of the late Rudolph D. Owens and Runnette Stewart Owens. He was married to Kay Tanner Owens who survives. Mr. Owens was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a computer programmer at Robins Air Force Base. Other survivors include sons, Mike Owens and wife Christy of Thomasville and Chris Owens and wife Jane of West Borough, Mass; grandchildren, Ryan Owens, Peyton Owens, Watson Owens and Ayla Owens; sister, Shirley Jones of Flowering Branch, Ga; brothers, Royce Owens of Buford, Ga and Steve Owens of Winder, Ga and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Southwest Georgia 114 Mimosa Dr., Thomasville, GA 31792. The family will greet friends 5-7pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
