Services for Larry W. McHenry of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at First Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Dan Spencer will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. McHenry died September 23, 2011 at his residence. Born July 5, 1951 in Kansas City, KS, he was the son of the late William Hayden and Elmira Jane McHenry. He was married to Debra Lee Marquis McHenry who survives. Mr. McHenry graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS. He was the owner of Mac's Lawn Care and worked for Trident Metals for 6 years and Fairbanks Morse for 25 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and Thomas County Central Football. He was a member of the Coffee Club at Raceway.Mr. McHenry enjoyed socializing and meeting people. Other survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Janice McHenry of Calera, AL, Craig and Kendra McHenry of Honolulu, HI, grandchildren, Elizabeth & James Taylor, Gage McHenry, Wesley Brown, Madison McHenry and great grandchild, Brooklyn Taylor.
